Terms and Conditions for Cheaper Quotations
1. Definitions
- “We”, “Us”, “Our” means Beal (UK) Ltd.
- “You”, “Customer” means the individual or organisation submitting a cheaper quotation.
- “Cheaper Quotation” means a written quotation from a third-party supplier that is lower in price than our original quotation and meets the criteria set out below.
2. Eligibility of Cheaper Quotations
To be considered, a cheaper quotation must:
- Be provided in writing (e.g. email, PDF, or official quotation document)
- Be issued by a legitimate competitor, VAT-registered where VAT is legally applicable
- Be current, valid, and no more than 14 days old at the time of submission
- Be for identical or substantially equivalent products or services, including scope of work, specifications, quality, quantities, delivery timescales, and any warranties, guarantees, or after-sales support
We reserve the right to determine whether a quotation is genuinely comparable.
3. Excluded Quotations
We do not accept cheaper quotations that:
- Are promotional, clearance, liquidation, or loss-leader prices
- Are conditional, introductory, or time-limited offers
- Include hidden costs, future price increases, or unclear terms
- Are from auction sites, online marketplaces, or private sellers unless agreed in writing
4. Verification
We reserve the right to verify the authenticity of any cheaper quotation, request additional documentation or clarification, and contact the issuing supplier for confirmation where appropriate and subject to data protection laws. Failure to provide requested information may result in rejection.
5. Discretion and Acceptance
Acceptance of a cheaper quotation is entirely at our discretion. We are not obliged to match or beat any quoted price. Any revised price offered by us is valid only for the period stated in our response.
6. One-Time Adjustment
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any price adjustment based on a cheaper quotation applies to a single transaction only. Future orders or renewals will be subject to our standard pricing and terms.
7. Errors and Omissions
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any offer if a pricing or clerical error is identified, or if a cheaper quotation is later found to be inaccurate or misleading.
8. No Combination with Other Offers
Cheaper quotation adjustments cannot be combined with any discounts, promotions, special offers, or loyalty or volume-based pricing unless explicitly agreed in writing.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version in force at the time of submission will apply.
