Main Description
This straight cable jointing kit is designed for the safe and reliable jointing of armoured and unarmoured low voltage cables up to 1kV. Suitable for both plastic and paper insulated cables, the kit provides a fully waterproof, resin-filled joint with excellent mechanical strength and long-term electrical protection.
The injection moulded shell creates a rigid, durable enclosure that prevents resin leakage, while the high-performance two-part resin bonds effectively to PVC, XLPE, polyethylene and paper cable insulation. Mechanical brass connectors are suitable for copper and aluminium conductors, and the insulated earth braid, constant force springs and core separators ensure secure electrical continuity and safe cable separation.
